Making’s Marketplace-Who We Are
Who We Are
Making’s marketplace is designed to be a community-driven space for all makers to buy and sell digital products, services, and physical goods. Keeping in mind our core values, we are creating a space to amplify ALL makers especially those who have been marginalized. We recognize the need for a space where everyone can be seen and heard. Making is committed to creating a space and community where this can happen and to lead by example.
Our marketplace is designed for all sellers to have the opportunity to increase their visibility and audience, generate revenue, and build a community. Our buyers will be able to easily find products they’re looking for and seamlessly connect with sellers throughout the Making app experience. We will continue to provide full transparency for all fees, policies, and procedures as they are updated and we aim to maintain clear communication with our users.
Community Guidelines
Making is a platform for users to learn, explore, and grow as a community. We believe treating every individual with respect is the first step in upholding any safe space. To keep our community safe, we have a zero tolerance policy which prohibits any:

Making is a Safe Space
Here at Making, we believe in a core set of values. We firmly believe in these values and in creating a community that not only acknowledges these values, but is open to change. We hope that our community feels safe to speak out when those values may be violated for any one of our community members. Following our community guidelines, we are also aware of systematic and algorithmic biases that disproportionately affect many marginalized groups on popular social media platforms. Part of creating a safe space is to hold space for these marginalized groups in a way that may be different for non-marginalized groups. In this effort, we extend this responsibility to you, the Making community, to hold and create a safe space for other users, especially marginalized and underrepresented members of our community.
