Feel free to use the outline below as a loose guide for planning your class.

- How will you answer questions - in the chat or orally?
- When will you answer questions - throughout the class or at the end?

- Let students know about the class chat “Circle” where they can ask questions and share more after the class.
- Remind students that a replay of the class will be available in their Making app account for viewing at any time.
- Introduce the class project:
- Show the finished project.
- Briefly describe the techniques students will learn.
- Get your students involved:

- Ask if there are any questions and if everyone is ready to move forward.
- Supplies

- Ask if there are any questions and if everyone is ready to move forward.
- Class Instruction
- Are there any tips on how students should set up their crafting space?
- Step 1
- Explain what you’ll be doing
- Demonstrate the process
- Let students complete the step
- Ask if anyone is struggling or has questions. Are they ready for the next step?
- Step 2
- Explain what you’ll be doing
- Demonstrate the process
- Let students complete the step
- Ask if anyone is struggling or has questions. Are they ready for the next step?
- Do this process for each step of your project. Don't forget to ask if anyone needs assistance before moving on to each step.
- Finishing
- If you have time, ask students to share their progress or finished projects. Praise their work. You want your students to leave the class feeling positive about what they’ve accomplished.
- Will students finish their project during the class? If not, how can you prepare them to finish the project after the class?
- After Class
- Remind students to visit the Making app for class chat “Circles” where they can ask questions and view a replay of the class.
- Ask students to post their work on the Making app and use the class hashtag so you can easily find all of their projects.
- Promote upcoming classes. Do you have any other classes coming up that you’d like to market to this group?
